Overview:

Sitting at the entrance to Granville Island, most people bypass this culinary treasure in their enthusiasm to get onto the Island. But for classy cuisine and cafe prices, this is a real find. Lunch and dinner is prepared by chefs in training and served in a cozy dining room where students are also learning front-of-house management skills. Service is occasionally erratic but the food is worth every bit of patience. Desserts are to die for and locals know to swing by at the end of the day for the left-over home-made soups, baking and other goodies that were produced as part of that day’s lesson.
