The three north shore mountains -Grouse, Cypress and Seymour are open December to March and further afield, is Whistler Resort. All are family mountains although Grouse has the most amenities including equipment rentals and a snow school. Grouse Mountain’s most famous run, The Cut, was voted "Best Urban View from a Ski Run’ by Ski Canada’s Annual Awards issue. Radio stations report conditions hourly and the mountains have their own snow lines.
