The two most popular diving areas include Howe Sound and
Indian Arm. The frigid waters are surprisingly clear and give
way to spectacular marine species like wolf eels and octopus
as well as a brilliant red coral found few other places in the
world. Porteau Cove is where to find a new Provincial Marine
Park - an artificial reef which has been established using old
ship hulls and concrete blocks. Rental equipment is available
by the day.
