Although trail rides are available atop Grouse Mountain and in the Fraser Valley, riding lessons nearest to the downtown core are found in Southlands, a pastoral neighborhood that lies on the Fraser River on Vancouver’s West Side. Mansions, nurseries and private stables line the river’s edge, making this a very unique area of the city.
