 Vancouver’s
first bookbinder Gustav Anton Roedde has two reasons to
be proud. G.A. Roedde Bookbinder, Stationer and Printer
survives today as B.C.’s eighth oldest business. And
his modest 1893 West End home, attributed to family
friend and renowned architect Francis Mawson Rattenbury,
is Vancouver’s first restored house-museum.
